I know - I know.....Lincoln is 4 weeks old tomorrow, and I haven't put anything on about life, Lincoln, or how things are going. Sorry. I've been busy holding the cutest bundle of boy baby I've ever seen!
Having a healthy baby is a TOTALLY different experience. (Truth be told, I'm probably more paranoid with him than I was with Halle. For instance, Let's just say when he breathes....I can't hear him - and he's not on an oxygen sat monitor!)
Being Easter, and especially grateful for the Atonement in our lives, we went to see Halle. It was Lincoln's first time up there - and the weather was nice enough that I actually let him get out of the car. When we pulled up to the cemetery, there was a young couple just getting out of a car, and they walked over to a grave on the other side of "Babyland" where their baby had just been burried. I remember going to see Halle and I would see families with new babies, and it was really hard to watch - mostly because I wanted my own baby back. Today we was one of those families. I so badly wanted to go over and give the mom a hug and tell her that with time, things do get better. Lincoln in no way replaces my Halle in my heart or her place in our family, but I am so grateful to have him and for the part he plays in our family.

We had dinner at my mom's with family, and Lincoln was the highlight of everyone's time there! Especially these cute girls........of which Kaylie offered to babysit anytime!
(Don't tell her, but I think we'll give it a few years!)

I think you will have plenty of babysitters. Abby would love to watch him too! lol cute. He is such a beautiful baby boy!
You look fabulous and I am so happy for you guys. That is one lucky little boy and I am sure Halle hung out with him and told him how awesome you two are. Plan of Salvation is amazing and thank you for sharing your strength. Love you!
FYI Kaylie has been baby sitting for several years now! I trust her with my children!
