That's what everyone keeps saying after they finish laughing......at my new calling. So - Brad and I went to see our Bishop last Tuesday - which we thought was for tithing settlement. Yeah - "we can do that to" he said after he asked us why we thought we were there! So - his next phrase is the best - he said - "we feel impressed, we're not sure why, b/c we don't know what your talents and abilities are, but we feel impressed to call you to be the Ward Choir Director." To which Brad and I burst out laughing. OMG! What qualifies me to be the WCD? I have no clue. Especially in a ward where we don't even have a choir until Christmas! Maybe that's a good thing?!?! I don't know - honestly. They just called a 'temporary' choir director to get us through the Christmas program to which he freakin' writes and composes his own arrangements (one of which we're singing in the program.) I on the other hand will NOT be doing that! Ha ha ha!! I still can't think about it and not laugh! Although - if you ask my brother - he would tell you - "Whom the Lord calls - he qualifies." Yeah - ok.Wish me luck!

YES! I love it so much. This is perfect for you. Now someone else can feel the anxiety of being the choir director. You'll do great!!! Just bring treats and they'll do anything for you.
Oh I can't wait I want to come see you in action. Just make sure you get really into it and like bounce up and down as you sway your arm side from side that is what I like. I can't wait to see you in less than a week
I know that you are going to be great!!! Thats exactly how I felt when I was called to be the Young Women President in my last ward. Hello I still am a young women!!! There were so many things that I had no idea what to do. I know that you will be a great WCD! Keep me posted on how it goes.
Better than my reaction to my first calling in our family ward-they called me as a nursery leader and Jerry was so surprised when I cried the whole way home...
